I saw the MS6 for the first time this weekend. That hood is insanely heavy. I'm not joking.

 

No surprise. Looks like there'll be a big market for CF or aluminum hoods for the MS6 and probably MS3 too...

 

I heard the ms6 sounds like a hoover vacuum cleaner from the inside is that true? MS6 would be a nice second addition next to my 8. Hmm.

 

I agree on hood heavy still waitin to test drive one too, checked it out twice already but everytime I went it was closing time cause I only have time in the weekend, gotta head out there earlier hehe. Nice Car goodluck.

 

Did you get the nav system? I played with one. More features than the 8. It's even got the hand held remote control. The nav disc wouldn't play on my 8, unfortunately.

I agree about the heavy hood. Where does the weight come from? It should come with a hood struts.

 

The weight comes from the bulge and ducting for the TMIC.

 

The hood is def heavy, i couldnt believe it compared to the 8. I didnt get the nav, didnt want to drop another 2k for that. I wouldnt say that it sounds like a vacuum, here is a link i pulled off of the 6 forum, part of it is from inside the car. I know my vacuum doesnt sound like that

I dont think i'll be going crazy with the aftermarket parts, this thing is already full of mazdaspeed parts, i'll prob just get the windows tinted up.
