Ferrari 612 Spotted at my school... (pics)

Walking to class yesterday morning, half asleep with my ipod on, i see this wonderful sight gleaming out of the corner of my eye. Low and behold, its a Ferrari 612, must be our presdents or provosts... Not sure but i dont really care, its damn beautiful.

That's a 612. 599 isn't out for sale yet, and has a much more angular look to it.

Still, someone at your school is loaded.

612 = 2 doors 4 seats, longer wheelbase, 599 = 2 doors 2 seats, shorter wheelbase.

Both have a 5.9 liter 12 straight from the Enzo.

YEah its the 612 Scaglietti--the most unattractive of all Ferrari's--still more than I ever could afford tho.

Ehh, I personally think the 80's TestaRossa was the fugliest of all ferraris (and there are some in the past, by Touring and by Scaglietti himself that I"m not fond of either.)

But PininFarina really screwed the pooch with the TR...

Ahh, good ol' Fairly Ridiculous U.

(just kidding, man, heard that from a friend years ago who went there!)

I hope the 612 looks better in person than it does in photos, because in photos it doesn't look very nice AT ALL. Maybe it's like the new Porsche Cayman, looks better in the flesh than in pictures?

As for the TR, I don't think it even comes close to being the ugliest Ferrari ever... But hey, vive la difference.

I doubt that the presient or provost are making money like that. I am going to guess that its a rich alumni that they are trying to get some donations from.

Not the greatest looking model, but I'd still pimp it.

Yep that's the 612 Spaghetti. Perhaps the most boring looking Ferrari I've ever seen. But I've never seen one in person, so. They are quite similar.

i've seen, and sat in, the 599 in person here in las vegas. i do all the clear bra work for the ferrari dealership in the wynn hotel. a couple of weeks back they had two 599's in the service bay. the only two in the us. both were beat up because they were driving them through the desert for a magazine showcase. anyhow cool car with more horsepower and faster 0-60 time than new 430. also has a adjustable exhaust so you can tone down (or up) the note to your liking. the coolest part is you can adjust the sound from inside the car while driving.

the sad part is the AM driver probably thinks that skyline is a civic or something.... AM drivers arent usually car people.

notice i said "usually"
