Great little story. I figured we could all appreciate this
I did a search and was amazed I hadn't seen this posted yet.

That VW averages out to 224 miles a day, seven days a week 365 days a year for 11 years. If they work a 5 day work week with two weeks off for vacation it's 327 miles a day for 11 years. If my math is correct. Every VW NB that people I know have owned have been POS. Do a search. Horrible car. How this person managed these miles and the thing is still running is a quite a feat.
Then again it is a VW, and they do have electical problems. Maybe the odo. malfunctioned? That would be my guess, but anything is possible.
