4 rotor RX-8 at SEMA

I'm guessing quite a few of you saw this car before, but here it is at the SEMA event:

It was at Sevenstock too

I completely disagree with the way it was fitted in

anybody can cut a huge hole in the firewall ... but it does keep the weight back behind the front wheels

Oh right! I forgot about Sevenstock. But it's pretty good that it's being shown at SEMA, where there's a lot of coverage.

It could probably compete with an F1 engine for sound.

I remember a video of a demonstration of the F1 engine, and it was ridiculously loud. Plus it was spitting blue fire :DD

Is an F1 engine louder? or a 4-rotor louder?

rmb the 787B was muffled, and had to obey noise limits

I've seen it myself.
Technically, it doesn't count since it isn't finished and running yet.

I'd imagine the F1 was louder, but it'd be hard to stand next to either of the engines for long.
