Yeah Top Gear did 350Z Vs RX-8 and the 8 was on walked away with the title

 

Hence the reason 99% of the dudes here have a man crush on Clarkson. If it'd gone the other way everyone would declare him Lord of the Poofs.

Not that it matters in any way possible, but I'm pretty sure its not the same episode. The one that starts with the 8 has Simon driving the reasonably priced car, the hair-convertable test, and the Toyota pickup escapades...

The 350Z isn't as bad as Top Gear makes it out to be and the RX-8 isn't as good as they make it out to be, both very good cars the come pretty close to meeting in the middle.

Since people here like posting dated materials, here's the same Top Gear’s car of the year . One mans opinions doesn’t mean **** . Jeremy Clarkson how does crow taste?

Oh, for sure. When Clarkson likes a car he makes it sound as if its the best car ever. When he dislikes a car, he makes sure to point out everything bad. Although the show is overly biased, its still fun entertainment.

 

Love the show and love the mag, but I'd never base car buying decisions off anything Clarkson says. He's an entertainer first and foremost.

 

Wow, this is interesting. I hope everyone noticed your post. Clarkson rags on the 350Z unmercilessly and then Top Gear proclaims the 350Z to be the car of the year in 2004.

 

Well, they did say they were going to make changes for the UK version. I wonder if they did or if they just handed over some sacks with dollar signs on them.

 

having test drove a 350Z, G35 Coupe, G35 Sedan, and the RX-8...I agree about the ride, the RX-8 is so much smoother than the "Zed." I loved the G35 Sedan however, 280hp, Nav, 6MT, 4 "real" doors...But the looks leave alot to be desired.

 

God I hate the selloutZ. Glad I went with the 8 in almost every way. Just need some FI.

 

I driven the Zeto, i must say its cool car but not as agile as the 8. which is why i love the 8 so much.
