IC...well it also seems to hold true that just about every car forum will have some amount of that attitude.

But by far the worst are the Z and IS300 boards. Owners of these cars think they're the greatest and all else should bow down. Nothing could be further from reality.

i'm sure you'd take ANY car right now considering you're not old enough to even have a license

but i must disagree...i'd take the 350Z over a fully modded 10 sec. RSX anyday...350's are beautiful cars with performance to back up the killer looks...it was a very tough decision for me between the RX-8, 350Z, and G35...i love my 8 but after all the HP confusion, lies, quality of service, etc, this will be my last Mazda, other than perhaps another later year RX-7/8 (i'll have to wait and see what the Supra has to offer, and perhaps by then, Mitsu will come back with my 3000GT!)...though the cars are phenomenal, the problems i had with customer service are by far the worst i've ever had to deal with

there is no new supra, toyota confirmed that regardless of the success of the 350Z and all the buzz about the rx-8 they prefer to stick with boring practicle cars and suv's.

oh well as I guess the rx-7 and the S2000 will have to take up the slack as the only real inspiring japanse sportscars.

Same goes here, lots of 8 owners don't have respect for any other cars.

They stop making the RX7 as well. Right now it's the 4 door sports car in favor.

Personally, I like the 350Z. I've been a Z fan since my dad bought one in '85. I had my heart set on a 350Z for months. I even had my checkbook ready @ the dealership to buy one. Unfortunately I didn't feel safe driving it w/ the view I had out the rear view mirror. I don't regret my RX8 purchase (I love it!), but I still like the 350Z.

Instead of reviving the Supra, Press tells Ward's a vehicle such as the FJ Cruiser concept, shown a year ago at the North American International Auto Show, would be more appropriate.
That is the worse reason ever. Not reviving one of the greatest sports cars in the world because they would rather build an SUV.

Oh well, I guess car companies are around to make money, and a SUV makes more $.

Back on topic:
I would probably prefer the 350Z over the RSX just because it is rear wheel drive. If you are going to have a sports car, than the power should go to the right end of the car.

I dont think pimps car opinion counts too much, since as far as I know, he doesnt drive ANYTHING. If you base your car opinion on looks alone, then it's a **** poor opinion.

That being said, I dont know many who would consider a RSX better than a 350Z. Even an RSX you spend a pile of money on doesnt have the handling (I think) over the 350Z. And the 350, is a good car. Better than a RSX.

Just the RWD vs FWD issue would decide it for me at least. Let alone everything else.

Oh and I'm not a good apple. I'm a bad apple. BAD! BAD BAD BAD apple!

Interms of performance you would hope the 350Z outperforms an rsx, look at the price difference. What saddens me is the RSX is much higher quality (as most cars are). Look at the fit/finish, interior and compare. That whats most sad.

RSX is a Honda so the built quality would be better but the thread is I think, about which one is better as a sports car.

BTW integra type R (DC5 = US model RSX) has legendary handling. Just because it's FF doesn't mean it can't handle, a common miss perception. So with the right mod (Type R pieces) it would be a great handler.

considering I started the thread I can answer what its about. No where did I say the RSX is a better sportscar, nor did I say that this thread is about that.

I belive I do have respect for ALL cars. I may not have respect for some of the people who drive them. Although, that's not enough -in my book at least- to stain the entire owners' community.

Yeah, hope all manufacturers would follow through, Mazda included.

I think the fit and finish of the rx-8 is nothing short of fantastic. there is nothing in its price range that is as good of quality, has as good of a fit or finish. Not to mention the refinement.
