If only MNAO had such a philosophy maybe they have pushed for a 281 HP RX-8 MPS Extreme edition. Oh wait is that what's coming w/the 16X? ...just no thanks to any effort on MNAO's part I guess.

 

You could get that much of a gain by throwing on a boost controller and exhaust I bet.

It mentions a 2" exhaust. That's it? On a turbo? Imagine a larger better flowing exhaust. 300hp+ here we come!

 

Australia always seems to end up with the best vehicles. Hell, GM should just start importing it's Holden line (like they did with the GTO) and call it a day.

 

Its just a Mazda of Australia tuner car, not a Factory Mazda. They just take a MPS 3 (Mazdaspeed 3 in North America) and tweak it at the port when it comes into Australia.

 

Looks better when it's moving, IMHO.

its not even that- its just alan horsley dreaming. they wont make any, its just a show car. just like that "rx-8 extreme" a few years ago.

 

This is the 3rd car that Mazda Australia's Motor Sport Manager, Alan Horsley has done over the last 3 or so years, there was the Black Extreme RX-8 as Charlie says, then the red Mazda 2 (old Model) Rally Concept and now the Mazda 3 MPS (Mazdaspeed 3) Extreme.

They are only one ofs and none for sale here...
