2010 Mazdaspeed 3 - Smiley Creature After All?
Yes, there have been countless of threads with information on the new 2010 Mazdaspeed 3... However, after passing by the dealer this morning to get my oil filter changes, etc. I noticed something peculiar of this "Mazda 3". Here are a few pictures I took with my phone. So is it that bad looking after all? In my opinion it still doesn't look right for me, maybe in black?
I will be passing by to pick up the weather mats I ordered, so I'll see then if I can test drive it and write a review of it if I get the chance.

It's a Cavalier
I like the new MS3. Good looking car.
I don't any reason to go test drive one right now, but I would like to you hear your impressions of it compared to the 8.

i dont care for any of the brand new mazdas now days. besides the r3's they look pretty badasss. But for some reason all the front bumpers seem to be HUGE like they are to wide for the rest of the car. Plus the smiley face got even bigger then they use to be which the old smiley was too big to start with. went from to :D ... lol... idk maybe its just me.

I think it looks nice - especially the back. The more I see this design, the more I can see the appeal and it's finally starting to become a design I like rather than a design I tolerate.
Also, those rim covers are a standard addition to protect the rims during shipping, as are big plastic sheets all over the rest of the car. It looks like they've done all the external prep work aside from those covers.

They gave it a face like the the 8. People will bond to it. People like a car that smiles back at them, kinda like their dogs, not really smiling either but they look like it.

AAAck! I see woodgrain on the dash - not 'sporty' since 1978 really...
The stuff on the wheels - yes they are mags - its a protective film somewhat like plastic ricepaper - its there to keep the sea salt off the rims and brake components during shipping by sea. Ive seen the same on cars here going to the dealers from the wharves.

how large are those wheels and will they fit the 8? I'm just saying, they look like the 40th anniversary wheels... could be a possible trade candidate if they're wide enough. I know they're 18in, but again, don't know width or bolt pattern.
I bet it would look pretty good with older 8 stock wheels.
