Mazda will show another flow concept(nee prototype?)
Ford will show its Bsegment ready for production car(if their showing it in detroit they must be ready to sell it here to)
Hyundai's new flagship sedan.
Subaru will have a world debut - no word on what.

about Subaru debut-
First Toyota bought GMs shares of Subaru.Toyota invested some engineering time with Subaru to help them streamline their manufacturing in the states. Now Subaru actually builds Camry's at one of its plants here. Back in August Automotive News ran a snippet saying the 2 companies are working on a shared on a sports car. In september there was a little more news from jalopnik

Not necessarily. Even tho there are more people that attend the Chicago Auto Show, the Detroit show is where the manufacturers are located. They want to show their stuff off to each other. The Chicago Auto Show does get some new car debuts from Europe and Asia, but it isn't like it was 10 yrs ago. Some of the things shown in Detroit don't make it to other car shows. I believe these are mainly the concept cars.
About the subaru debut
I am sure they'll amaze everyone again.
an even uglier car, now with boring toyota DNA injected into it.
edit: Actually a RWD boxer would be quite good. The boxer engine has awesome CG, but it sits wayyyy too forward, throwing off the yaw moment. If they can push it backwards behind the front axles it'll be a blast to drive.
I have a feeling the near production Nagare concept will be the next RX-8

I bet the Subaru debut is the new Forester. I'll be shocked if it's a sportscar.
Mitsubishi is also debuting a car and I have a feeling it might be the new Lancer Ralliart, which I'm thinking will be a turbocharged WRX/MS3 fighter.

Hang on they said that the TAiki was the last in a series of 4 concept's, now they add another....Mazda you kill me!!!..
How about something tangible that we will buy in the future that is not from Disney Land.
