Another negative is the image:- I'm not too concerned about it, but I have clients and business partners that find the sight of me stepping out of it in a suit humorous. I don't know if it'll hurt me with new clients.
I think both cars are close in the fun to drive category, but the ITR gets the edge IMO because of how raw and mechanical it all feels.

Exactly what I found. I had an 8, but the Integra I bought as a replacement for it is somehow a more fun car. As you say, it's the rawness and willingness to rev, but if you want you can potter around town....most flexible engine I have ever come accross.
Sounds like type-r should have the performance of the Si, but is more ridgid and should handle very well. They have done TOOOO MUCH to the interior, way too much going on, should have made it more basic looking, not really a fan of the interior or the exterior, but still wouldnt mind having one

The JDM Civic Type-R. From everything I have read, it's a beast. Goes inch for inch with an NSX Type-S Zero on Suzuka. Too bad it will likely never make it over here.

I'm not a racing guy and I don't know **** about cars but the 2007 Civic Type R Sedan marked a time very close to a NSX Type S on the Tsukuba circuit as driven by Tsuchiya. And looking at the tach needle rise really convinced me its much faster than the Integra Type R.
