OMG, lol if you've bee nreading about my graduation thread, I was talking about the 2005 Mustang, and damn, this looks really nice! I don't really need to performance mods of 400HP though. Looks alone are stunning. Might have to pick the kit up if I buy one.

it looks pretty sweet. What is it going to cost?
I don't like the headrests, they look like a cheese slicer. I can just imagine being rear ended and having my head cut up into little slices.

Daaaamn... that is badass. as usual for Saleen, out of my price range, but I love it! Knowing Saleen... this car will handle and put down some serious power. The last S/C 351 Windsor engine model put down so much power that the magazine guys had a hell of a time getting the rear-end to hook, thus hurting the 0-60 times. If i remember right this bad boy couldn't hook up 1-3 and was chirping in 4. 2nd gear starts may have been best... Now THAT's torque!

I like it, but I think it would look better without the spoiler. It hass a nice tail lip to it already.
Saleen has always been expensive but at least it is nice stuff. People are going to make 400hp out of the GT anyway for less than $35k.

The problem I always had with Saleen is that the Cobra is faster, better handling, and $10k less than the base Saleen. You might as well buy the Cobra and get the Saleen body kit (~$2000).

I am a meat popcicle
My friend has an '04 S281 SC and that thing is seriously fast. My impression was that it was faster than a comparable year Cobra. Either way, the '05 looks pretty nice. Not my kind of car, but I can see why people who like Mustangs would like it.

haha, cause you say that it will put down lots of power, then in the next breath that people were having a hard time putting the power down I know what you mean, I just laughed when I read it :D

One thing about the 2005 Mustang...is it me or does the rear end never end? I mean after the wheel it's like 20 miles till the rear bumber, that my friend...is ugly! That's one thing I love about the RX-8 it's tires are to the corner of the car which is how it should be.
Saleen is a good company but the car looks a little cheaply done, I've seen someone make them look nicer than that. Not too bad, but nothing to wet your pants about...

There is no '05 body style Cobra though. However in '07 when there is one it will be badass.
My dealership is a Saleen dealer and I have seen first hand how their products end up and I will say that they build a great car, it's just so damned much money.

I donno. When the fox body style was replaced, I couldn't see how people thought the new style was nicer. I now find the fox body repulsive.
I dig the retro look. It works on some cars, not on others. Haven't you ever wanted an old car, but didn't want all the problems associated with one?
