mine is less than 30% all round =)... cos i put 2 layers of 30% VLT all round. No probs but when come to your first vehicle inspection( which is about 3 yrs for brand new cars) , better remove. You can put a good 3 yrs.
Heat rejection is fantastic ( cos its so illegal to put so dark) ... It's like on a very hot sunny day, you hide behind a concrete wall, can't feel the heat. It's very cool inside even on a hot sunny day. I parked under the hot sun dat time from most of the afternoon and although alittle warm, the steering wheel and leather seats are just warm, not hot....normally I would have already "burned" my hands and butt in my previous car which i din put any form of solar tint. And, it's better and cheaper to put 2 layers of a cheaper and darker solar tint film than to put a (supposedly) very good high end "clear" solar tint film... in my line of work, I know for a fact that darker is actually better... |
