I got Vomit in my car... down the centre console between the 2 front seats... now my car stinks.

Anyone know of anyway to get rid of the smell quickly?

 

Wash with water (the cup holder compartment doesn't leak the water through). Dry it and air the car as much as possible... then put charcoal in the compartment to soak up the bad smell...

I've spilt assam fish curry in my car before... although I washed and wiped, the next day the car smelt like someone vomited inside! Didn't know about charcoal then... so hope this will help u...

I guess thats one more thing to add on my list:
No eating, no drinking (except water), DAMN sure no smoking, and no vomiting, no sex unless I'm the one having it

If it was my car, i would make the person suck it all up.

Vomit is reeally really hard to get rid of. Maybe charcoal or tea or bicarbonate of soda.

 

Arm & Hammer baking soda the hell out of the car. Fabrice is good for the house but it always reminds me of cat pee.

 

10 bottles of CK perfume will handle it......

 

Get the odour remover from shell or caltex petrol kiosk, it wil do the job !!

Its a spray bottle in black and green wif anti bacterial ! or white and orange for normal odoure removal !

Can't miss it coz its written on the bottle odour removal !

Hope tis helps clear the stench in ur ride, mayb after sparayin put in a bunch of pandan leaves in ur car for a week to freashen up the cabin air !

I am with you on that , Emperor. I would have made the person suck it back up. For get the odour spray. Go get your car's interior professional cleaned, the most expensive you can find . And then your send the bill to that moron and make the person pay.

Ah! .. now i noe why they put "Slow..Hump Ahead" LOL!

The centre console can be taken out easily. Go to those PI auto shops,
they'll take it out faster then you can take a pee. The you can use water to flush out the vomit. the whole piece is plastic aniway.

Then you can use steam cleaner, wet vacuum to rid of those on the carpet. I think those polishing/grooming shops have this service.
Then you can polish yr car at the same time and send the bill to yr fren. LOL!

Btw, the center console can be detached so you can bring it home for a good washing if necessary.

Haha..but it's abit difficult for the girl to do that in the RX8 as compared to my previous car...the centre console so wide... difficult for the girl to climb over oso ley.......heh anyone successfully tried in a Rx8? haha..

 

Wah, this thread is still going on? Over a month now. For Sgkingkong's sake, I hope he has heeded to the varous advice and had the puke removed. A month is a long time for teh puke to settle... past the the stench stage by now. All crusty and sand paper like by now.

Final advice: No more picking up very drunk chicks esp in a new car. (He must have got the idea from the movie, 40 yrs old virgin.

anyway, the smell is long gone... by the second week... was quite desperate and had to work really fast because my boss was coming to Singapore from London and i had to ferry him around...

i diyed the whole cleaning process. remove centre console, vacuum, dig, air, put charcoal, put air fresh...
