Not sure bout trade in, but, to tell you the truth i have had the best service from Discount Tire company. They are everywhere and they can get you wheels/tires as cheap or cheaper (pretty much all brands/styles) than anywhere else due to there size and reputation. I have had really good experiences with them as have many of my friends, not sure about anyone else here though. Good luck

for trade in, you can try Poh Heng tyres at blk 4002 amk av 10. call justin at 98368640 to enquire. would like to add that i have never bought from them before but hearsay their prices quite competitive and they do trade-ins.

hi

dun bother trying to get original 18" mazda rims from Poh Heng as they do not have. You can try Leong Seng. thats where i got mine. other designs are good too. imo, PohHeng looks too busy and untidy to my liking. They do not really offer good selection of big rims.
just own observations, dun flame me

cheers

Leong Seng has a more impressive showroom for sure but from my experience, the prices are slightly higher than Poh Heng.

By all means, order your wheels from LS but I'm pretty sures tires are cheaper at Poh Heng. Don't let the small shop fool you! They can get you pretty much any tire you want. As for wheels, they stock Taiwanese replicas a lot. But they can order Volks etc if you want but LS could be quicker.

Go to both and then decide is my advice.

Cheers,
B

yah but at PH it is like a fish market. chances of your new rim or car being scratched is very high. well you get what you pay for.

actually it was my impression when i was there a couple of times ......i mean, the service was ok but the place is too disorganised to my liking. the catalogue was crappy. unless you really know what you are looking and approach him directly, you will likely not be able to find any impressive rims on display there

my 2 cents

I think stamford has a reputation for being pricey but they stock a good range. LS would be a better bet in this case.

Yes I agree PH is a little messy and disorganised but I wouldn't go as far as saying you'll scratch your rims or car there. I installed my tires recently and it went fine. But I can understand that having a nice big showroom does count in giving one a piece of mind, so if that's what you're after, LS could be a place to go. Personally, I will go to LS for wheels but my tires will be sourced from PH unless LS can do a discouted packaged deal.

Also speak to MG, sometimes they can good packaged deals on tires + wheels for u.

Good luck!

Depends on ur mileage, I upgraded to Pro-drive 1 piece forged rims, got a 0.5km/l improvement and would take abt 2-2 1/2 yrs to breakeven the cost

So u can calculate if it would make sense for u to change. Otherwise, the "better look" is as good a reason as any to change
