You should be proud of your car. I always thought that the 8 could do it. Did you get the top speed limiter turned off? If you did could you share how you did it, please.

I run mine on the road track. I can only get to about 140 before the end of the straightaway. It will be completed and ready to race officially by the end of the year. For the fast acceleration the shift point in mine is 9300RPM. On the track I keep the RPM at 6500 or higher. I never up shift before 93K and I always down shift before it drops to 65K

Never forget that the engine is only running 1/3 the seep the crank. That is why all the power appears to be at the high end. At 9K the crank is only doing 3K. Tells where a turbo need to start making boost. At 3K the engine is doing only 1K. So a turbo that makes boost at 1K on a piston engine, then it will work well in the 8 so long as we remember about that 3 to 1 deal with the rotor crank gearing.

Where you referring to KPH rather than MPH. Rats, :rolleyes: after reading the other posts I realized you where referring to KPH. I thought you got it almost to 200MPH. Oh well you still did great.
