Thinking of buying a RX8?

anyone can help me whether should i get a 2nd hand rx8 or brand new one? would like to have an auto one , is the parallel importer reliable, who are the one? meanwhile driving a legacy GT, thinking of changing to a RX8, cutting down on my road tax , as i intend to change my 2nd car to an MPV, ? thank you all....... what is the new car price now ? I am in Singapore......

Welcome to the cult

I think a new RX8 will probably be cheaper than the 2nd hand ones out there. Just 6 months ago, a brand new PI (parallel importer) RX8 is selling for about 15k more than the current prices I see in today's newspapers. Those owners are unlikely to let go at too low a price unless you get a really good deal. So check out the Classified and the website prices and figure out for yourself which is better for you.

Also, if you had read thru much of this forum, you would probably know that the car is not exactly the cheapest to upkeep. The road tax is low but you may pay more for insurance and fuel so again do your sums. I don't think anyone actually bought the car becos of low road tax...
