Where to get those sticker front number plates? Legal or any one got caught? Where to get and how much? matt or metalic?

Illegal... and I got caught. Well I was reminded to get a proper plate by the Police.

 

Damn! just when I almost picked up the courage to do it next wk!

 

changed mine to sticker 2 months ago, so far so good. guess my mine seldom on the road......barely 30 mins a day. but i still kept mine std plate, juz in case.

i thrashed my original already. Got stopped in a couple road blocks but those guys said nothing so far. I guess there are worse things to do to a car beside a sticker. Anyway, the police won't do much to you about number plates unless yours is reflective, wrong fonts etc. You might have problem with LTA though... but that would be quite a while and i think by then i would have changed...

 

Okay. now down to the where to do it and how much?

 

Well... it was after a meet up at Kallang I was heading home and there was a road block, they stopped me, asked if I was drinking... shine into the car walk around and told me to get proper plates and asked me to go... I think the bunch of cops were bored and just wanted to check out an rx8... since got no real reason to stop me, they had to think of something.... so I kanna on the plates....

Almost any sign maker.. just them if they do sticker plates.. $10 - $15

I got my friend to make it for me so I'm not too sure which one he went to...

its a number plate, using sticker...... guess it ain't that popular over there....

 

Many states in US do not require a front number plate. We do in Singapore (just like NY) so some RX8-er paste a sticker with the number plate on the front bumper to avoid blocking the air dam

It's making a licence plate as a decal. You can stick it on the bumper of the car and it'll take it's form from the bumper, flat and smooth. Not like some ugly metal plate sticking out half an inch.
