It can be done at alot of place. one place easiler to find it the sticker shop opposite the Traffic Police station in Ubi.

Around $15 to $25 depends on how u want the sticker to be,
eg. small or big digits, with or with out background, some just wanted the number alone only

Actually IF the sticker is stick directly on the car its consider as illegal. but if its stick on to a plate and the plate on the car, then its ok.

But if u see those sticker numbers on most cars on the road, most of them stick them directly onto the car with out any plate.

I do not understand by "it hinder the entry into any carpark" why would the sticker numbers hinder that????

i think he meant those carparks which scan ur number plate at the entry and opens the barrier after verifying ur number plate when leaving.

Had a sticker plate with small fonts size for a bout 2 weeks now.

Worse i got was a stare from a TP on the TPE.

But hard to say; i have friends who says its sure to get me in trouble at night-time road blocks.

if sticker size is done correctly, they should hold til the inspection day. TP rarely stop you just for that. Like i said, unless the size is way to small or the nos are too cramp up.

IMO not all cars can take sticker plate. it will look good on the mx5 mk1 or the FD... dont fancy it on the 8....

It also depends if any bodykit is fitted on the car as some might be better suited to sticker plates than others. However, just a point to take note is that the adhesive on sticker plates are quite strong. If pasted over a painted bodykit, removing the sticker may also rip off the paintwork. Original bumpers should not have this problem. Instead of a sticker plate per se, another alternative is a license plate on a thin flexible sheet of plastic then sticking the plastic plate on the car with double-side tape. Like Morgan said, if it's on a plate and then the plate on the car, it's legal. Just something to considering.

They should allow stickers now.

Years ago when the Alfa 156 came out; they allowed the plate to be placed on the side rather than dead centre. Now they should also consider that the BIG plate is blocking airflow and killing looks.

We are also allowed to shift our license plate to the side, but all the other restrictions for license plates still apply.

geez.... then i think i'm going back to do another number plate, those thin sheet pf plastic, then double sided tape it onto my bumber. i really dont like my original license plate. its squarish and smack right in the centre, looks like its blocking the air flow through the grille.

If your original license plate is a one-liner then it probably doesn't block the air flow through the grille because the top half of the grill does not have through holes anyway. If it is a squarish two-liner license plate then it will block the lower half of the grill. You can also consider changing it to a single-liner.

The thin plastic license plate that I mention can only bend in one dimension unless you wanna try to mold it to your bumper shape. A bit hard to describe, easier to show you at the meet-up on my 8 or sgrenesis' 8.

The plate on a stock bumper looks like a something in a gaping mouth. Kills looks.
