Looks as though I will be returning to South Korea again next summer. I will be there from 2-3 years. Anyone else there? It has been about 3 years since I have last been there.

 

hey Im in Yongsan... I got the only Rx8 on this post. There is one on humphreys too...
I will be here until april 2012. Be prepare to order everything you need from the U.S .... Rotary Engines are not welcome in korea... So close to Japan, but at the same time SOOO far. Since import taxes are extremely high, it is cheaper to order **** from US

 

I'll be out there beginning in March of next year until December attending Yonsei University in Seoul for my foreign exchange. Unfortunately, I won't be able to bring my 8 (nice dream though haha). But I'm medically-retired AF, so I have full access to the base and what not. I'm also pretty fluent in Korean, so hit me up around that time and we could chill. Maybe wrench around on the cars and stuff.

 

Well I won't be taking my car either, but I know a couple guys with FDs that live there. I was stationed there in 09 too. But ya it would be cool to hang out.

 

After spending time there I wouldn't bring the rx8....I would be too nervous that it would get hit.

 

I bought it here, so it already has battle scars that I will fix as soon as I get Florida.

I start my terminal leave in march 2012 :D, so I hardly doubt I will see you guys.

 

If I ever end up in Korea again I will be bringing both my 8s! I dont think I could leave the poor boys behind again. There are some fun twisty roads out there as well!
