Guys, hmm.. just wanna add something thats not relevant to this topic.. don't get offended ya.

Recently there's quite a big issue over Texas Oil ya.. read up a thread sometimes ago and i've forgotten which is it..

Each and everyone has its own views and preferrences and lets don't argue much over it.

my feedbacks,

For me, mine is a 7mths old car and i've changed to texas oil after 1mth plus. Overall i can say not bad. really not bad but the engine oil finish much more faster then ordinary ones as its real thin. at least im sure it will burn out completely.

the heat bring down alot. will be even obvious if u have a oil temp gauge. the temp drops very fast from 110 to 90/95 when u stop at traffic light.

i've even drained out my Atf twice. now using the texas titanium plus. As for Atf, its really not cheap. it cost me close to a thousand. and for engine oil, its ard 300 if im not wrong. forgotten.. sorry..

Overall, i find it not bad. the car runs smoother, heat really decrease alot (no more barbecueing). the car react abit faster and can somehow feel abit more power after i changed the ATF..

ps: i'm neither a salesman nor earning any commission or whatsoever. i'm just a consumer.

Oh ya, recently just gave them a helping hand by being a demo car over at Sentosa, Fast and Furious events together with another 2 8s.. enjoy the pictures if u like it if not pls don't vomit.

Cheers always~~

I don't mean to start a bout with anyone here, but just thought this is worth a mention.

Even though the Texas Oil burns out until your sump is empty, doesn't mean it won't leave any deposits in your engine.

Janson you said 'i'm neither a salesman nor earning any commission or whatsoever. i'm just a consumer.'

Sigh, i've just about had it with these texasoil people. I may not be local, or even chinese, but i doubt anyone anywhere in the world would be dense enough to get hoodwinked time and again. You say you're an independent? - puhleeze... i think the whole club knows that you're a firm supporter of texas and your ride is chock full of texas logos, and decals all over, so please, do not insult our intelligence coming in here to give your 'impartial' review of the oil.

As i said many times, it's proven that texas oil is NOT advisable for rotary engines. Even for piston engines, it remains to be seen. If you guys are so confident of your product, then be confident enough to either file and publish a patent, and provide substantiation for your claims of nanotechnology and all that rubbish. Finally, you do know that your ads in the local magazines are misleading don't you? all it takes is for some wiseguy to make a complaint up to the authorities for false advertising, and we'll see how far nanotechnology really goes in terms of substantiation. Nuff said and time and again, prove us wrong and we'll clam right up. So in a nutshell:

- nanotechnology: utter bullshit, this doesn't exist
- you're an independent and don't earn a thing: wow, you must be one of those super charitable guys willing to lend your whole car out to a chumpchange company to advertise all over your body - yeah right
- $1k ATF/$300 oil change: who in the world would pay top dollar for a two-bit unproven product?

yup i agree with flyer. The engine consuming engine oil DOES NOT mean it will burn completely. In fact texas oil does not burn complete in rotary engines. THIS IS A FACT.

Anyway, to correct you, texas's 20W50 oil is NOT thin. in fact in the market this rating is one of the thickest. I also agree with you that the oil does bring down temperature, but that is only for initially. After awhile it goes back to the same as any other oil.

As for Kenko's case, i tink you noe best who is behind this nick hor, janson?

Ha coupe07,so wat is the out come is it because of the re-map problem which i did or the oil tat i use,cos i was told is cos by the re-maping of my ECU which give me my spark plug problem and can u pls post me a reply ,and can i have my plug back .Thanks

Pls tell me how the remap has anything to do with the complete burning of engine oil for the rotary engine..... The ECU does not tell ur engine oil to accept or refuse a particular type of oil. So Please WHOEVER tells you the nonsense of ECU remap cause the incomplete burning of engine oil, that workshop shld start to close shop oredi......

Anyway to further stress my point, MY OWN SPARK PLUGS WERE DAMAGED, using texas oil BEFORE the REMAP.... so the ECU remap doesnt come into play here. In any case, THERE IS NO RELATION between the ECU n the type of engine oil.... Goodness, i dunno which ignorant wkshop tells you such crap....

U can of cos take ur plugs back anytime... they only show proof that the engine oil that u used cannot burn complete as there are deposits on the plugs.
