Well, if turbocharging an 8 is illegal, I saw, or rather heard, a turbocharged one in Marine Cresent. Its red with GT wing. The blow-off is unmistakable.

psionix:
turbocharging any car that isn't already turbocharged, or upgrading a factory turbocharged car with a larger blower, is illegal for all cars in Singapore. Same like turning on fog lights. Or underbody neons. Or chewing gum. Or oral s3x (change oreddy or not?!)

I didnt noe turbocharging is illegal. I use to think it is illegal. But I heard somewhere that its legal if you get approval from Ah Gong.

Was bored, starting work only week after next, so here is a pic of my cheapest die casts. 1:32

Not implying anything, just solely for the sake of automobile discussion.

that's not right. if there is a manufacturer -pproved TC, then ok. I know one of those is the toyota RS200 with suitable TRD turbocharger. i was told one owner went thru the process to get it approved.

that sounds right... manufacturer approved..

Basically the idea is that whatever component the vehicle manufacturer themselves would install in their own factory can be approved if you apply for it. This is how our zeng hu approaches most things.

basically an easy way to regulate these things: an one size fits all approach.

well if mazdaspeed can come out with an addon SC/TC for RX8, that I guessed would be the so called legal TC/SC
