Anyway some words of advice for someone trying to do the same stunt...

1. Buy it few days to one week before valentine day ... bulk order one rose oni $5...

2. After presenting to ur gf/wife ... keep the roses in cold moist place n water the stalk with wet cotton wool.

3. Valentine day go n sell it in orchard road for $8-$12 per stalk.. sure got ppl buy from u.. .cos in valentine day the price cfm goes to $15 - 20 per stalk...

This is the cheapo way to score pt from ur gf/wife n oso earn some quick bucks!!!!

WARNING: TRY THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK.. IF LOSE MONEY OR LET GF/WIFE FOUND OUT, PLEASE DUN SCOLD ME... KIDS DUN TRY THIS AT HOME/OUTSIDE

not sure about u guys but i find roses fugly and more for old people...
then again I dun buy flowers for girls so nto sure if girls really like roses..

Haha.. the standard type of roses you get are normally from India. They are characterized by its elegant long and small buds, but are typically very hardy (i.e. can last for more than 5 days).

Super roses are from other countries (Holland, etc) and are 2-times bigger than Indian roses. When they bloom, they are HUGE. These type of roses are not as hardy though and will survive up to 3-4 days only.
