Sorry for the OT but I'm just curious, around how many RX-8's are there in SG right now? 
How's the RX8 sales compared to similarly priced "performance" cars like the Subaru WRX, Mitsu Evo, or the 350Z?

Not too sure man. But i will say definitely between 50-100. Or maybe even more...
Only the 350s, STIs and EVOs come to about the same price as the 8. Most people are getting WRXs in singapore cause it is dirt cheap compared to 8. Gone are the days when Ah bengs n Ah lians go blowing wif pride in their EFs/EGs/EKs. Most have upgraded to WRXs and they think they r GOD! Hehe....Figure of speech only, dont get offended ya. I am still a great fan of the VTEC's growl when the third valve opens!! (

Yup, gone are the Hondas....
My guess of how many 8s on road would be 100-150. spoke to couple of PIs, and 2 of them told me they've sold like 40 8s, well if what they said was truth, then, it should have that many on the road. Doesn't feel like it tho.
As for the 8's competitors, the Rexs probably gives the best bang for the bucks.

Wahh, I think that's alot for Sg in my opinion considering how expensive cars are in your country.
Over here in the Philippines, I'd say there are less than 100 units of WRX, Evos, and 350Zs combined.
I'm sure we have at least 1 RX8 in my country though... I wish local Mazda sells them here...
Btw, I notice many SG buys got them from the grey market. I wonder how's maintenance of rotaries ..
