Great UPDATES, pls read: Sepang Track & Driving Course Day - April 2006 for ROTORIES
Hi guys,
The RE Club friends in KL are organising an event in Sepang for NON-Piston... or Rotories... :p
We can convoy there to meet the KL Rx7 and Rx8.. learn driving techniques... and track together. There will be a pro to guide us..... Details will come out later..
And after the whole day event, we can all convoy for dinner and drinks...
Below is a brief description of the Event:

Time: About 8.30am ( We can arrange for a group breakfast before proceeding)
Location: Sepang International Circuit
Cost : RM 170 inclusive of Lunch and instructors
Requirement : Helmet
Closing Registration Date: 14th March 2006
A good friend is organising a proper trackday this april. Cost is RM170 with lunch and there are professional drivers to guide you should you need.
In keeping with our rotary racing tradition, i would like to invite RE Club forumers from here to join and learn how to handle your car and at the same time learn what else is needed on your car to run high speed applications.

UPDATE on 14th March 2006
Just briefly, we will be leaving very early in the morning at abt 3:30am(so please plan in advance to sleep very early on fri nite ya). We will meet somewhere(probably at SPC near tuas checkPT, will be postin map) and convoy up together.... Meet the other KL bros at Sepang at 8:15am. Briefing, Lessons, then track till afternoon and lunch. After lunch will be hotel check in. U can either Relax at the hotel or join some bros who will be visiting some KL workshops to check out their Mods and stuff. Evening, the KL bros will meet us at the hotel and we will all Convoy for dinner.... then convoy to somewhere for coffee or drinks.
The organisers in KL is helping me to get a good rate for a fairly nice hotel. At the moment i personally can only get SGP90 for Eastin hotel and SGP140 Meridian Hotel(which is Super Porshe like a 6 star hotel and new... like Ritz Carlton) But not sure if bros are willing to pay tat price..... Anyway, keep do your suggestions coming in while we are finalising the accomodation.
Note:
1) U can bring your friends and family... lunch will be free for them.
2) Free servicing and inspection before trip(u can bring your oil/oil filter etc or buy normal or rotory oil at the workshop). Labour all free.... details coming up.

P/S: btw, u guys might be able to test drive some Track MODs up Protons and mayb Lotus... Keep you fingers cross

But we might probably be meeting those guys for breakfast near KL and then convoy to Sepang together...
As for the details, they will be out later....
but we most probably need to decide on one of the options:
1) Meet at 3:30am and drive to meet Rx7s and Rx8s for breakfast, participate all the events, and stay over for a night or..
2) Leave Friday night and stay over there for a night.... Wake up next morning and meet the Rx7s and Rx8s for breakfast, participate all the events, and stay over for another night.
Let your feedback keep coming.... We can organise and make arrangements that are suitable for the majority....

Come on, where are the other members. This is a good time to really enjoy track and best of all with only rotary powered cars, so dont need to worry about people pushing or bullying cause all "own" people lor.
Give tracking a try, once you start its hard not to resist to go. Safety wise we have quite a few cars convoying together with definitely a lead man and back man so no chance of getting lost or left behind. Its just a long straight road with lots of trees and mountains, you can even get a chance to test out your top speed and clear some of that carbon.
Time is running out so put your name down QUICK!!!
