Ole, you can track your 8 in stock condition. After that then you'll be able to appreciate it's strengths and weaknesses to know what mods to get and in what priority. Seems like you aren't very sure what you want or need, so just take it easy. Pointless to go around buying things just for this event and then realise you don't need it later on.

We stayed at Concorde Inn. http://www.concorde.net/sepang/index.htm
Pretty old hotel but comfortable enuf. The executve rooms are newer.
I would love to stay at Hilton or Meridian but afraid of the morning Jam since we need to be at Track by 830.

Rx8 Racing Brake Pads

Bros,

Just for this event... I manage to get hold of some Rx8 Racing pads that can withstand up to 800 degree celcius.
http://www.nbrake.com/ - look under NA-P disc brake pad

They will be going for only $180 per pair, installation $20

I will make a separate post for this.

Drop me an SMS 91115977 if you interested.

Don

one question pls. 800 deg cel? so high, wouldnt it fry (ie warp) the rotor unless it has been upgraded to handle higher temp? also, i recalled on one of my prev ride i tried proj mu 500 deg c pads before and boy, it's like sand paper rubbing rotor when it's slow and cold... braking quite bad when it's slow and cold too...

We are going to spend only 1 nite there. On Sat nite. Sunday is the run...

For executive rooms, 207RM including breakfast.
For family suites, 500RM including breakfast for 4 and has 1 king, 2 twin beds. Additional bed 55RM wif breakfast for 1.

The last time, we took the family suites and shared among 5 to 6 person. So the cost was veri low.

Yup, security is safe... Got a guard post there so no one will be able to come Toll yr car away.

Bro, I check and it is not going to warp your rotors but if will def eat yr rotors at 800 deg cel... But at low temp, its not gonna sand alot of yr rotors but I personally reckon it will grind more of yr rotors when compared with street break pads. What i recommend is to use this racing pads only when you go to track and use your stock pads during street driving.

Sorry for this out of the topic question, but is any singaporean bro willing to buy a set of mounting for me and I will pay them when they come to Malaysia? Please? because here in Malaysia we need to wait for the stocks to come in from singapore which will be a few weeks.
