dun waste effort..... its not so simple as wat many said......

1. Garage R will not help u do only 1 exhaust
2. only the authorised distributor can do so

so the door is effectively close for you....

Morgan, from my knowledge, the fine is typically $500 for illegal modification.

Guess the pain is not only money alone, after the TP stops you, you have to follow him back. And then they will conduct a thorough check on your car...rushing somewhere when that happens, you're screwed!!

I thot the HKS exhaust is already legalise? So if transfer just need to go let lta see and certify? That was what my friend did for when he bought a secondhand legal super dynamics exos.

HKS is NOT legal. Shld u stop by TP, make sure u dont have other illegal mod (eg exos header) else sure kenna something like $1000 ($500 each). They will let u go after inspection and u wait for letter (fine) a few days later.

Nowadays, u damn sway then get caught but unfortunately HKS silent power is LOUD so if TP stop beside u during traffic light, he may want to check u out. Beside this, no down side. HKS was my first choice but no chance to get approval. Lucky I found Trust Ti, super light, super loud and LTA approved hehehehe. Downside pay $1900 for it but still very cheap as they retail Yen 155,ppp. Its almost full titanium and weighs something like 7.1kg compared to stock 20+ kg. Very happy as using for few mths liao.
