i used to be a fan of replicas...
cos' i tot i can change the outlook every year... MS to VS to INGS to Lampagini to watever....
when i meetup with our rotorians, see simply8 ride... damm chio... then see coupe0 ride7... i hide my car... so after 4 months, i back to stock again...
that's my view... no hidden agenda

I am contemplating btw replica and original too and decided to go with replicas...

Reasons as below:
1) People can't really tell the diff while you on the move
2) Why spend so much on original kits? (More budgets for other mods)
3) The cost for original can let you change a few replicas!
4) Are you going to keep the car for long?
5) When selling your car, dealer won't pay premium bcos of your kit
6) Replica looks good enough if workmanship is good
7) Long waiting time for shipping in original kit
8) Most of all.... be it original or replica, once kena bang all are the same

Just my humble opinion hope won't offend anyone

I beg to differ actually.....

1) People can't really tell the diff while you on the move - can, so long as its veilside, mazdapseed or ings. Regardless these 3 brands u got it original, pple will still tink its fake. No matter how good the workmanship is, the flaws are still there.
2) Why spend so much on original kits? (More budgets for other mods) - becos fake kits make the car look cheap.... really... u really got to compare to believe
3) The cost for original can let you change a few replicas! - this one true, i cun dispute
4) Are you going to keep the car for long? - subjective depending on different personels
5) When selling your car, dealer won't pay premium bcos of your kit - when selling car, revert back to stock look and sell the kit and theres still good money to be taken back. Original kits lets u take on n off u like unlike replicas.
6) Replica looks good enough if workmanship is good - i have only seen one that is good but he paid a premium for the paint n labour, which brings u back to square one (spend overly much on replica kit on labour n paint? or spend more on original quality kit and spend lesser on paint?)
7) Long waiting time for shipping in original kit - good stuff must wait.... if shops have stock, means u no need to wait. original kits are not common. replica ktis are everywhere and lesser choice.
8) Most of all.... be it original or replica, once kena bang all are the same - wrong in a certain sense. Original kits are stronger. Replica kits, slight knock only, whole kit crack. Original kits, slight knock only slight damage

those with replicas, usually regret after looking at originals.... those with originals will nvr look back....

any car can have replica INGS, VS, u may just look alike.. really...

spend on kit or spend on paint, make a choice... i respray the kit 3 times....

original kits are more tougher... i did some test... humps test, wind test and oso heat test...

it's an rx8 u driving... make it looks good... sound good oso feel good... ya....

This is the old VeilSide version 1 bodykit before their D1 GT bodykit. Don't know if this version 1 is still available new or even replica. Sorry, not much help but good luck in your search for it.
