Guys, been out of town but just wanted to be in the loop regarding the Recall. I know a few of the guys were on that recall list. Any further developments ? Does anyone have their parts in as yet ? Was it a major job ?

 

I'm gng back to my PL for the recall 2day shall update u later in the day when i get back it takess less than 1 hr for the ppl to fix it! Cheers

 

Thx jack. Would appreciate an update. Hopefuly sometime this week I can get mine fixed as well.

 

Changed mine last week. Took about an hr as need to hoist the car up. They showed me the heat shield and there were some hairline cracks on it already.

I understand that the recall affects the 6MT rite? correct me if I'm wrong....

Yes from what I understand, the manual transmission had the heat insulator recall.. Not sure aout the side air bag though.
