hi, haven't posted in awhile, and not even sure if i shd be starting a thread on this...

but i just came back from a track session at sepang... and i must say that the RX8 is a fantastically easy car to drive on the track! *gush*x3

ok, so the long drive on the highway was shitty... i'm not used to the darkness, and the high speeds on the dual lane parts.

but the RX8 is so shiok on the track. basically it turns when u want it to turn, the feedback is great, can thoroughly feel the grip. brakes are also responsive and full of feel. i am super tired so can't really think of the right words to describe the experience, but there is surely a connection with the car.

and at anytime when our mortal driving skills fail us, the traction control is fantastic... kicking in to help us along and keep us out of trouble.

no disrespect to other cars, just gonna state the following as a means of comparison: my friend drove his JDM WRX wagon, and i rode in it. altho his times were faster than mine, i could feel him struggling and fighting with the car, as the car feels like it wants to plow over the outside front tire at almost every corner. maybe it's like comparing apples and oranges as one is a wagon and the other is a coupe, but my point is that the RX8 seems to be a very forgiving yet satisfying and involving drive at the track.

i am hooked and i totally recommend all owners to give it a go at sepang.
