Question ?

Hi Guys need some info, is it possible water leakage from the radiator can seep through the starter motor and fly wheel.

2nd question, is it possible for water from small flood from the ground to enter the starter motor and fly wheel. The starter motor being quite low under the undercarriage.

I cannot start my car, the mechanic told me when they dismantle the starter motor it was found to be rusty.

1. did u always have to top up ur coolant reservoir?
=> if yes, did u check the reservoir tank for cracks?
=> if no crack, and u alway have to top up, most probably, not only ur starter motor is gone. suspect ur water seal damaged and coolant seeped inside ur engine. (this is not the 1st case, we have seen n rectify 2 cases)

2. Is there any cranking sound?

3. Did anyone test ur engine compression?

4. Any check engine light? If yes, wat is the fault code?

5. Did u check ur spark plugs as well? Any rust?

AFAIK, no modern car should require a coolant top-up from time to time...top-up meaning refilling to keep the level in the coolant overflow tank from dropping below the 'min' marking.

I've just replaced a brand new starter motor, right now my car can move but I'm still having the same problem, my coolant is low again.

I would like to send my car in for further check, please recommend me a good workshop.
