Problem with Rx8 radio... Advised needed!

Hi,

I just got my new Rx8 2 weeks ago from a PI. I have been having problems with the radio reception as it is often not clear for certain certains such as FM93.3 and also very easily affected by surrounding buildings. I never had similar problems wtih my previous Honda Civic.

Also, I am unable to tune into FM 98.7 totally. I know that the PI radio are originally meant for Japanese market and the LCD monitor will show 88.7 for FM 98.7, etc, i.e. 10 less than Singapore's station.

The radio is the original stock one from Japan and a/c to my P.I. a convertor has already been installed.

Does anyone of you with a PI RX8 face the same problems? Or is it just a problem with my radio?

What can I do about it?

Thanks for any helpful advise.

Cheers,
Goh

Thanks pals!
Just called him earlier on and he said no problem. Just go to their workshop and they will change the converter free of charge. No need to bargain or coerce even. Good service from them .... ha ha.

Cheers!
