didnt hear abt the news... was at Mazda Motors looking at the 6MT. Was told indent lead times would be around 3 months. Test drived and ooooh... i was speechless

 

well the news supposed to be priviledged news. I'll try to find out more when I go down to that PI this afternoon.

 

I think it's just sales gimmick to get you to buy the car. IMHO, don't need to get overly concerned. If you stop and think about it, how would "Japan side" restrict the import of RX-8 to a couple of PIs? PIs do not get from Mazda Japan direct. Japan very big, lots of dealers willing to export... easy business, car leave their shores, no warranty issues, no loose ends. I guess it's priviledged information coz that particular PI is one of the PIs that still have "excess" to the exported RX-8s.

 

I see what you mean and do agree to some extent. Dont think the restriction imposed due to company 1's misdeeds (XXX XXXX) can be so fleet wide implications.

 

Anyways, back to the thread's intention. MadmaxRx8 is selling his 7month old car. Very reasonable price (IMHO).. detailed setup... Red 4AT. The next owner of his 'wife'.. you've gotten urself a goood bargain..
