Finally.... have confirm an RX-Egg :D an hour ago... cannot work.... keep thinking about it.... Will collect the car 2 weeks later...
Maybe love the car so much that forget to get more info from you guys before the purchase on the petrol consumption and maintainence...

BTW, is an Auto 4 speed...

Guess u call u RX 'egg' - me call me RX 'X' - we're affectionate that way :p

Auto consumption depends largely on how u drive u RX/egg - best is 400+km on full tank and worst is 200km (me :o )

Remember to attend the meet so u get poisoned :p Don't worry - poison feels GREAT! :D

For 400+km is very good but 200+km is nightmare... Maybe the inital start will be higher... need to zoom zoom zoom... :p

Meet... sure... was at Kallang Mac last night and saw the "8" meet.....hmmm just stand at one corner and look at the awesome "egg"... drove pass slowly...GF get excited... :p me excited and wet....

Hope that the following info will help

Spore driving 1 liter = 6.5 km

Spore to KL (150-180km/h) 1 liter = 7.5 km

The car's tank is 60 Liters so just calculate back wards and u will know how many Km per tank of fuel.

Plus i always rav my car cos i'm so lousy at the clutch

Since u did very little on Highways that means that your car consume much less petrol than my?

I can only get 6.5 KM when driving in Spore... I wonder does the actual mileage of the car contribute petrol Consumption ??

My car is only 5000km after 5 mths ++. cos seldom drive. Does it means that I need to drive more so as to running in the Engine in order to obtain a high mileage?

 

My GF ask me to go over and ask question on the EGG machine but just a bit shy..

Imagine u would have bought a WRX. (higher Road Tax and Insurance due to being a Turbo car)

The money u save from Insurance and Road Tax (when u bought a RX8 ) Would have to go to the Petrol. stations.... :o

BTW, what should i check for when collecting my Black-Egg.....

Understand that AT4 speed come with the original 16" rim...not so nice in design. Where can I get the original rim as seen in the brochures? 17" or 18" is fine.

Saw the "add-on" kits from MM.... will they sell to those who purchase from PI?

 

Check that the recall issue has been addressed already.

U should look for after market rims & kit - get a different look! But if u do wanna get the MS kit, it is not an add-on as it is a replacement. But NICE! Especially its *** :D

Heard that MM won't sell to PI RXs, but u could try to contact our friendly RX666 (cool motorbike avatar).

The above should EGG u on... for now :p

The add-on is too loud for me...The black egg is fragile.... :p

 

egg where got fragile.... try to squeez an egg in your hand:D.....but once the yoke comes out......it gets juicy :D

 

Did mention the Recall isuue to the PI. He knew about it for quite sometime back and all their new car within the given number had already fix....

What they have is all the heating problem.....

 

My car is being delayed due to the recall problem. supposedly should be able to get the car last week between 11 - 13 Aug but LTA requires my PI to repair the recall problem before they allow them to register.

Late but at least its being done before i collect the car.
