It's usually about economies of scale, political/social constraints which impact marketing potential...but rather than just asking for the 8 to come to your shores, do some homework and present a more convincing case to Mazda...is the lack of delivery in the Middle East due to emissions issues? qualified mechanics and rotary support network? hehe...certainly not the cost of oil or petrol

^ well we have no emmisions rules what so ever, we do have mechanics but we never had any kind of rotary powerd engine sold through our dealerships.
I don't know why... isnt mazda owned by ford? well they do sell mustangs all over the middle east but why would they not sell other performance oriented vehicles is outta my reach, there are alot of people that really would of bought FD's & RX8's if they were here (some just buy them even though there is not warrenty and no rotary trained mechanics that can fix'em)
I guess they just dont realize that the middle east is a better market for them then other asian countries (profit wise) oh well Im tryin to do what I can to make a change.
got any suggestions please postem.

I hear where you're comin' from Phoenix, but Mazda's lack of interest in bringing the 8 to the ME could be based on many uncertain/unclear issues...for instance, MM took over a year before bringing the 8 to Singapore (that is, the Parallel Importers or PI's brought it here first at a premium based on supply/demand).

Ya Ford Mustang's are everywhere globally, but of course they're more common piston engines and not rotary.

^ well people in the UAE have been buying RX8's through mazda dealers but its a supply/demand, no warrenty and no assurance that they can fix the car if anything went wronge with it..
oh well, I guess the 2.3L turbo mazda6 wont make it here either
