Coupe , would this RE flash upgrade be suitable for Australian cars (manual 6 speed 237 hp).
We do not have a speed limiter.
If so, what would be the cost? I would be shipping the ecu over for flashing.

sorry to miss ur post.

I believe ur car specs is the same as wat we are getting over here from Mazda.

Oil temp and water temp definitely reduced. My oil and water temp are constantly 89 degrees normal drive with occasional higher rev.

response is quicker, engine note is different.... do let me noe if u r interested.

IF ANYONE CANNOT MAKE IT, NOT TO WORRY, there is still KNIGHT SPORTS to come to tune your ECU. The tuning is about the same, since we r toking abt NA setup. Theres only so much u can tune.

 

Hey coupe07, is there any way to get this ECU tune shipped out to the UK in the form of a flash or something??? I'd be very interested!

 

unless you plan to send your ECU to singapore. i was there when they did my car. they have to see which version of the ecu is in it.. apparently there are more than 1 version.

from what i remember they soldered a port on to the board and then loaded the appropriate flash via a laptop for the appropriate ecu. 1 hour job. i don't think they are going to give us the codes in flash form.

 

like wat lohsk said... it cun be done this way becos they need to look at ur ecu.....

Alternatively, you may wan to ship ur ecu over to me....

Coupe07, is the reflashing of the ECU only for 4AT JDM cars or do they have the codes for all types of RX8 ( 5MT, 6MT, 6AT, Euro and JDM)..?

yup. all types, including rx8 euro model (ie, the MM model)......

those who missed last round, can do this round. those that are gg to miss this round, theres still knight sports. so dun be unduly worried.

wun have beer... cos u will risk getting caught once u drive out.... tp main branch along main road only - our side famous only milo peng.. if heng, its free... if suay, u have to treat all.... like dat one..

 

we need to noe ur location, then we can find out freight costs to us and back to u...

 

so far for milo peng..i no heng and no suay...hahahaha
