Hi, I am a new member here, just wanna say hi to everyone here. Really like the RX8 a lot, comtemplating to buy one soon, currently I am driving a 323. Can someone recommend a reliable parallel importer? And also wondering is servicing of the car gonna be a problem over here? how often do you top up engine oil? Thanks

hmmm toking about PI, there's a few dat we patronised b4....

eg....Garage R, HY, EZ import, Leco etc etc.....

few compliments for Garage R coz many accessories eg special HKS oil n oso tuning can be found there...... but 1st of all check out which PI can offer u the best price with the option accessories u need....


engine oil still okie not dat often, for me abt 5k....coz it burns out oil but not dat much....some top up abit for every 1k

there are a few workshop specialized in rotary...eg garage r, TG autolodge etc etc...


u can find lotsa of answers to yr questions other than the above if u browse around.......

You guys seem to know a lot about cars. Frankly speaking, I am not as professional as you, which is why I have been browsing around this site quite frequently trying to learn more about RX8. Btw, wondering how many female RX8 owners are there? any idea? Is the insurance of RX8 as expensive as turbo cars?

 

No problems, just do a search for any topic you are interested in, or ask if you can't find.

Insurance wise - depends on age, driving record etc. Over 30, premiums are okay. I think its lower than turbo charged cars. Just check around before commiting - premiums range widely among the companies.
