My Rx8 Was Robbed By Parang Wielding Robbers

MY RX8 WAS ROBBED BY PARANG WIELDING ROBBERS IN BROAD DAYLIGHT INSIDE MY OWN HOUSE COMPOUND!!!!

It happened at 6:30pm today, where 2 armed robbers (chinese) stormed into the house and held a parang to my maid's neck & demanded keys to my car.

My maid started screaming saying she dont know where the keys were, and push the robber away and ran into the kitchen. My mom was cooking, and asked the man what he wanted. The man refused to answer.

In the event, they found the keys that was conveniently laid on the table. One robber drove the vehicle off while the other open our main gates and later enter the waiting vehicle.

There was a 3rd robber in a separate dark grey vehicle waiting outside.

The whole incident happened in a mere 10 minutes. Children & others were UNHARMED in the incident as they got what they wanted.

Our society has changed into a living nightmare!!!! Parang Robbers storming into your house JUST for 1 VEHICLE & nothing else. Its not like the vehicle is a BENZ, PORSCHE or even a FERRARI.

KEEP YOUR DOORS LOCK TIGHT WHERE ENTRY IS NOT POSSIBLE.....

Send this to all your family or friends.... Be X-TRA careful....

If you do see my car (Reg. WPL 25), attached in this message, PLEASE CALL 999.

Hey guys, take a look at this - http://sg.auctions.yahoo.com/sg/i::252042044

This will definitely deter the robbers from getting away your 8.

now that it's on the world wide forum, any chance of our international RX8 community tracking down this car? or at least making it difficult for the thieves to profit?

Hahaha, fairly common here in SE Asia.

Sorry to hear about your 8 bro, at least everyone's okay. Your 8 must have been really pimped for them to want it that badly.

there are some engine blow and accident car around malaysia. the stolen parts can be anywhere in malaysia, even sabah or sarawak.

WoW!! I read that you have maids and main gates... It seems you live in a decent area for this event to happen.

I'm glad everyone is ok!!

Stay safe and God Bless!!

bro,

it is so unfortunate for this to happen on you.
most importantly you and your family members are ok.

but it is indeed sad that this kind of incidents do occur in malaysia regularly.
in particular kl and jb.

but look on the bright side, the robbers got taste and you get to claim your insurance and get a new ride....GTR maybe?

maye next ride install 1 of those satellite tracking devices

Put a big banner telling the robbers that you are a security guard of a big bank... trained and with access to nice weapons... :P

Looking at it, this could've been a planned robbery...Who got the ***** to enter any house not knowing who is inside, armed with only a parang instead of more lethal weapons, and daylight rob a 8...

Best prevention: install GPS locater into your car in future or CCTV your place...

I guess CCTV should be the best solution. Even mince pork noodles stall in Singapore has one....

Jokes aside, I'm glad no one is injured...
