i used the Blitz intake kit, sound good is mostly like re-amemiya(hiong)zoom....zoom.... we all still search the SLD,still nobody success to uncut the speed with type-E car yet?????who wanna be white mouse ler??i am the white mouse test HKS SLD....

 

Any of you know of a person, preferbably a woman who can write about cars ie. proper journalistic writing and not about opinions.... need to get quotes from their sources etc.

My wife, who runs a woman's magazine in both Malaysia and Singapore is looking for a person who can contribute an article or two per issue for Malaysia. It will be either on a free-lance or moonlighting basis.

RX7 oil filter can be used on our car, in case you cant find it....

 

Where do you hear that??? We from KL has ask some fella from JB/SG to remove the speed cut last year..... The fella say all that he need to do is to add a piece of piggyback stuff..... but in the end, the fella cant even find the wanted signal... thats 5 hours tearing apart my friend's car..... It's truly pathetic for he's big mouth........ I dunot offer my car cos i know that since the first day, our ecu is hard to crack becos of immobiliser and traction control.... Piggyback is simply not good enuff to remove the speed cut with DSC and immobiliser intact...... Maybe it work for manual and non DSC car......

Wat Mines and R-Magic does to remove speed cut is data-loggin plus reprogrammed and change some microchip. They truly recommend to use back the original ecu cos it's running at 32bit which is more advanced than any piggyback.... Traction control is not even available on HKS V-Pro...... Oni Motec has it.....

the piggy back is dastek unichip v4r running at 32 bit... i called them after reading their ad on some tuning mag... not only will it remove the speedcut... it will also enhance the performance from 5-8%... i too was sceptical... haha..

i guess the only way to find out the truth is to let them try it... after all... it comes with 2 years money back warranty.... sounds too good to be true?

 

dun bother to try hks sld if yours is type e or s with traction control... hks website specifically said that it wont work. it's meant for lower spec rx8 without the dsc.

 

Viswork in JB specialise in Unichip. There's a standalone version unichip (didnt know the model number) which bypass the original ECU. My friend drive a DC5 tuned using Unichip..... With his driving talent, he was able to lap the Sepang track in 2.32 minutes..... Most EVOs and Subarus cant do that.....

Viswork reputation is a worrying point. Some of my friends say they are good some not.... It's truly depends on luck.... Will the car still able to have traction control?? It's a important safety feature unless you like to drift all the time.... hehe....

yes... i would have to agree that dsc is an important safety feature... i wont choose speedcut over it...

so hopefully they can do both with unichip.. going to give them another call...

 

i already call up the workshop but he don't know whether the car wif traction control or not....so i will update again once i get to talk wif the RX8 owner since i have he ph no.

Actually the workshop sifu ask me to put the HKS Fcon vpro...he quote me at 9k including tuning...so what do u think har?If like that i rather put a brinz brinz Rim...or the nice nice bodykit!!!

i would prefer to blingz blingz my car rather than make it go faster with rick. u never know how sifu is the sifu. get what i mean bro? one more thing. u must make sure he is able to keep other function in. mana la tahu after modification lost something then he say he is not responsible. nah..... die.

Haha...Same experince,I also buay tahan liao but i still ok lah since my car is at KL now...I will be very "du lan" if i drive everyday...race race race until 187km cut...damn!So,u will be the white mouse on this time Anyway,what is ur car type?normal auto or Type E?it's look like fail percentange more than success wow... But may i know how much he quote u for the unichip?I don't have chance to drive my car down to JB so don't think will be faster than u lor...Do let me know the result ya...really can't wait to c the result eventhough the chance is very small.

yohji~ my car is gona be ship next week~ how you put your plate no.? is there any special way in malaysia to place your plate without obstructing the front grill?

 

Hehe...congrat man see what u want lor...if u want i recommend u put the sticker no plate(put at front bumper side.For me i only like no plate wif double line(show as below):
