Yeah that's me. Were you there as well? Too many people over there and didn't know who's who. Hehe. Remap feels good so far. Tried to push the car on the way back but the engine coolant light came up while red lining at 5th so backed down to 'cruising' speed. Hehe

Had more than what I bargained for when I went there. Blardee dealer took away my front strut before selling it to me & I thought it was normal without a strut bar. Had a stock strut installed and manage to fix some noise coming from the engine. Turned out to be faulty spark plug cables.

All in all, it was a good trip down.

 

1. Ashtray set, pending Mazda motor?
2. Mazdaspeed spoiler for new member, price?
3. HKS exhaust, measurement center to center.

 

ur coolant light shouldnt come on........ check ur coolant reservoir. Could be leaking or the sensor is spoiled

 

Oi bro~! looOoooooNnnnnNnnNnNnnGggGGGGgggg time no see ne~ change ah~ next time u come kk u can dip pisang emas with chocalate lo. starbuck baru buka. all the kl shops open in kk. everyday radio pun ada ni. last week i think most go singapore remap. i also canceled my trip to kl cause no gathering and sick. will postpone and go on january 15th. need go ikea buy things for showroom.

 

I was in black shirt and i did ask you "are you from KL??"...... Try to add more coolant, it will get rid of the check light.......

 

Supercharge masih ada...... Bila nak pasang??

guys, can please advise:

when my car (rx8 auto) at stationary with engine running (rpm around 700-900), can feel the car vibrating n can feel from steering wheel. also abit of metal sound coming fr front... but if i ramp abit the the rpm to more than 1000 then the car become normal silent.

so any idea whats going on with my car? can it be the engine mouting? or gear oil dirty? or engine oil or others?

can please share which workshop is recommanded n experience with rx8 trouble shooting and maintainance n of cuz not potong kepala around selangor area?

desperate need advise, thanks...

 

Not a big deal bro.... It's just the worn engine mounting..... Get it from Wangan Racing, RM900 plus installation........

thanks for the comments. anyway, should i go n check it out n confirm its the mounting before change it? where n who can check and do the installation?

 

There's no way to check the mounting physically........ Only diagnose to it is engine jerking while idling...... 99% is becos of the mounting, you can ask the rest, most of them change their mountings b4...

 

Just got back from Wangan...... Got my gearbox & rear diff. oil changed to KAAZ 80/90 LSD Diff. oil........ Now my gear shifts feels much smoother...... Money well spent

Yups...... did it at Wangan..... Total cost was Rm340 for 2 Two Litre cans of KAAZ LSD 80/90 Diff Oil (@Rm170 per can). I highly recommend doing this...... BTW, its for 6 Speed Manual Tranny........ If Auto use different oil for Gearbox

 

Anyone know whether putting a HKS 1.1bar Radiator cap have any ill effects on the Rx8 (stock is 0.9bar)?

 

High pressure = radiator crack....... Useless it's aftermarket radiator.....

Hehe not kedekut lah, I care for the environment one.. That's why I want to compare the sound of a straight midpipe with an aftermarket CAT. If it's too loud then I won't be interested, coz my car not that fast but I'm wondering about the potential additional gain the change will give me.

From the sound clips I got off the net, it's pretty ******* loud wei so mana tau, if I hear it in person, it actually sounds like music

 

So i assumed you will bring along some CO testing equipments to make sure it's environmentally friendly.... hehheee

 

the sound clips u hear are not only cat replacement but the whole exzos system including muffler... so cant really tell if u only change the cat
