that is the oem navigation system provided by mazda. you can get it done at the dealership for quite an expensive price or you can buy the system from a club member whos selling it. it was usually an option for when you buy a new rx8

hey bro i know u mean well but...in singapore that nav system is not OEM....it's not even in the optional parts list for Mazda Motors Singapore... we can only get such parts through our parallel importers and even so it's normally not easily obtainable... just for your info...

bro,

it's really expensive if you want to go down this route and you are
looking at in the region of 3.5K for that.

here's the link anyiway.

http://www.japanparts.com/db/partsli...dle=2&small=41

why dun you get an aftermarket 1 din console that fits above the aircon vent
to contain a 1 din head unit with flip up screen.

or the kanatech 2 din option that goes right below the hazard light switch.

thee is a lot of information on these 2 options on this forum.

i think it came from CD rom navigation system, which mean you'll get Japan navi map with it too as for the external input or GK3A-V6-590, it can save you money mostly for those who want to install dvd player only and play it through stock navigation screen, here's my old thread for reference:

https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...ght=Navigation

https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-interior-audio-electronics-24/e-brake-wire-102514/

ps:unless you don't have the stock screen display, its better to install other than OEM which cost more and its not easy to install
