I was waiting for the 2006 RX8 6-spd auto too! But the wait is too long, not sure they are even releasing it this year. So I gave up and ordered the Shinka II Type-S instead. Now waiting for my ride to be in by Apr.

 

How much you pay for your Shinka II Type-S ? Is it Auto or Manual?

Anyone got any idea how much the insurance for 34yrs old, first time buyer, with 10yrs driving experiences?

Yr insurance should be somewhere around $2k plus without any NCD from NTUC.

 

So far there still no news on the 6spd auto yet. Will let u guys know if I ve informations on it.

 

Type-S is JDM 6-spd manual. Price is about 119K, but the PI agreed to revise the price if there is any changes.

 

Hey, I bought a Shinka too. Be arriving around the same time. Late March or early April. What colour did you buy, I ordered the Snowflake White. Ordered before CNY was 121k.

 

Ordered the Copper Red. I love the colour, it looks gorgeous on the 8.

 

I read there is talk on restructuring the tax on cars. So car prices will go down again. Sigh...

 

That's cool but due to the fact that I cant drive manual transmission cars so gonna give it a miss... well, hope to meet U up when U collect yr ride... I am still waiting for the release for the 6-spd auto thou...
