You should be talking about the original one right? Where to get it?

If the replica one costs $1.7 includsive of spray-painting, worth it?

yeah....i was referring to the original. Most kit shops in singapore can get it for you...coupe can bring in for you too if you want. I got mine from yap brothers.

replica full kit? assume spray painting costs $400. rep kit itself costs 1.3. Should be quite ok i guess.

Maybe. Why? want to group buy and be my twin bro?

I am considering between original mazdaspeed add-on, Ings original and Ings replica.

I am leaning towards the replica as not so heart pain when i hit it alittle and not so expensive to replace in case my fickle heart changes and i want something else.

Errr... i dont think so.... money is tied up at the moment. Trying to mod my rx-8 to 800bhp but only can be tuned at marina south, am i right virus Bro?

As for kit, problem is to check what material its made of. Most of the replicas are made of fibreglass so just a slight knock will be enough to cause the thing to crack as compared to "flexible" FRP but due to the price gap (in my opinion) the amount you save from replica is kept like back up in case you damage it.
Hope my "england" not to chim.

I don't think you'll be able to find any replicas that is as well built and looks as good as the original. There's a reason why they are called replicas. It may be cheap now, but when the putty/paint starts to crack or if you hit the bodykit into anything hard then you'll start to see all the "hidden costs".

Davester
cost of a replica bodykit - $1600
spray painting - $400
petrol - $20
expression of face when kit starts to crack - priceless

Hey davester why dont you get emperor to get with you since he is interested too. Probably can get a better price if you both get together.

I am still looking around. Will take a look at the original kit on monday and i will let you know.

Actually what the bros here says is kinda true. The fit and finish of original is way better. But i am going to see it myself on mondya and then decide.

Sure thing...

Was also admiring the FABULOUS bodykit on the other tread from 2F2F. Looks pretty impressive for the front bumper. I still like the INGS side skirts and rear wing though.

Anyhow, please keep me updated on what you're found out. Thanks

Davester
