Hi folks, I'm just thinking whether there is a market to insure the 8's Immobilizer or any make's Immobilizer. I have heard of people dropping it into toilet bowls or losing it. Just wondering if it worth the price for the convenience. The insurance also covers loss of cash and misuse of credit cards. The insurance costs $58/yr.

I think it's worthwhile.. coz I keep losing cash everytime I find a new mod that I like :p j/k. On a more serious note, what would the insurance cover? Does it simply cover a replacement immobilizer key fob? How does it cover loss of cash? I think misuse of credit cards are usually already covered by the credit card company so maybe coverage of a break-in (replacement window/windscreen) and stolen cardcard (up to a specified amount) would be more attractive. But I don't think it is sustainable coz some people might break their own window and claim loss of cash/cashcard. More info would be useful.
