Is exactly the same shape and design as our original bonnet, except is in black carbon fiber material.

Why dont you get it spray as same as car's colour? Maybe your parents will accept it. Did you sold you original bonnet as well?? So sad

Ya got conflict with the shop, cant do much... i am not surprise the sell away to make mould.

I think i will not spray la, wasted the carbon fiber, and not a win win situation. So think swop with someone who likes it. But the catch is gotta be Grey....which is the hard part.

If sway sway crash, won't they will still replace you with an original bonnet? So what's the issue?

 

Insurance will only paid for the original car setting when u 1st bought the car.

I got a friend who crashes "one big time" got to top up a lot of money. cos insurance company refuse to pay for Body Kit, Sports Rim and other add ons that he did after buying the car.

This goes the same for all insurance company. They will only paid for those Big Rims and body kit if it comes with the car when u 1st bought it from the dealer.

If I'm not wrong, it also means that when u are buying your car and the original setting comes with 15 inch and if u ask the dealer to trade back your 15 inch for a 18 inch, Insurance company would not cover it too.

They will only cover the 18 inch if it comes standard on that particular model that the car dealers are selling.

So for those, including me that had New body kits, New & more expensive rims, add on Undercarriage Brace, add on Ram Air Intake, and etc..... THEY ARE NOT COVER by the INSURANCE COMPANIES

 

So let's say you have a CF bonnet and get into an accident, the insurance won't even get a replacement original (non-CF) bonnet for you? If so, that sounds like a crappy deal! So does that mean that with our non-factory installed MS kit, we can't afford to get rear ended?? We don't exactly have our original rear bumpers anymore.

 

Yup... Something like that. But I think I heard there was a insurance policy (a rider probably) for the rest of the body kits or for racers. But i'm not sure where I saw or heard of it.

Yes, you can take up separate insurance for it. Or when you next insure your car(with new insurer or renew) you may ask them to include it in for a premium.

If not, if it is not insured. They will not even pay you for an original. Cos there is no damaged insured part(i.e. your bonnet is considered not damage cos it is not there).

my centrehole is straight nt similing, and the edges along the headlights is more protruding out.
