Anyone knows what is the best deal for insurance for a RX8? Please point me towards it. Calculating my finances to get my 8.

ok ok. i am 26, male, outdoor occupation, with 20% NCD. My insurance from income is 2.9k with a 1.5k excess. so more or less around there. You can double confirm by calling income. and let them know its an Rx-8. they classed it high-performance so premium is higher.

 

me 30, 30% NCD, 8 yrs drive expr ard 1.6k from income.

 

Wah! so much cheaper than me. my driving exp is also 8 years. maybe you are 30 thats why. NTUC increased my premium for holding an outdoor occupation.

Whats your excess?. Sure you 30? i think 31 is even cheaper.

Thanks for replying, seems like Income is the only one insuring for the rx8. Anyone knows other insurance company that insure the rx8?? Guess the insurance amount i am going to pay will be around 1600 to 1800 type of range if from income liao......

BTW, can i tell them i drive slow and thus pay less or not?? haha

slow, (hehe...purposely call u tat wan :p) frm wat i know income is not the only one. but they are the cheapest wan. the rest rather expensive. can even be 1k more than income the last time i checked.

other insurance companies oso insure the 8 actually... but i tink the premium is very much higher......

if tell them drive slow can pay less, then i will tell them i dun drive at all.. only put at home to admire niah!! :D :D :D :D

If i am not wrong. AXA will insure me for $6 or so. So NTUC is a bargain at $2.9k.

NTUC not so bad, other than they are quite strict in certain terms. But the main thing is NEVER CRASH YOUR BABY!!! then no problems.
