Is that Black 8 yours? It's very nicely done up, the only thing I didn't like was how the mag claim it as "Mazdaspeed" RX-8!

Heh heh. Suppose they figured that since we got Mazdaspeed accessories/options, it's a Mazdaspeed RX-8.

Not quite accurate me know!

BTW how'd u get the pic of starter button & grey RX? NICE!!!

Any idea/suggestion what me should do next? Itchy (as r we all!)

And thanks for replying!

I would love to get more of the accessories too but these accessories ain't cheap. In fact, I think they're very much over priced. Anyway, back to your question, I'm suprise you've kept those wheels! I thought those will be the first to go if you're into mode-up your ride. IMO the 16's are a little too small, and those rubbers are looking way too thick! Looks like someone who dress-up nicely but had a wrong pair of shoes. Otherwise you'd had one of the sweetest ride on the road here!!

I've ordered the start button as well, I love start buttons, I think it gives some kind of joy from just starting up a car. How's the experience so far? Has it fail on you so far? Did you install the button yourself, infact even for most of your accessories or was it installed by GarageR?

As for the Avatar, the button is just the product shot from the accessories catalog. And the Tit8 pix is from of the many publicity shots from the Mazda site, But, originally it's blue, just do a little photoshop and change it to the colour that I'm getting. The Tit RX-8.

There should be more and more performance parts coming out of Japan in the coming year. The 8 is still pretty new, so I guess a lot of the mods companies are undergoing development and testing. Should be very interesting and painful on the wallet...

Thanks M-Ster! Me scheming to change rims & tyres after wearing out the present - otherwise waste $$$.

Heard that alignment, speedo, etc. different/wrong after change to bigger rim. Any idead whether true? Scared of speed cameras!!!

Accessories were fitted in Japan as me ordered 'em with RX at same time.
Starter is VERY smart - only works once (to start car). Won't work after car has started - so no accidents!

Hi Fab 8! U right, lots to look forward to!

BTW, M-Ster, u might want to look into the remote start function! Me couldn't get it as Japan said not safe...

Me still quite disappointed! Apparently the silly thing MAY kill the engine while u driving. Spooky stuff!

Errant, saw ur pics. Ur RX looks GREAT!!!

Why too bright? Maybe u can dim it? Rest of instrument lights can be dimmed (although me only guessing)

U went for the full Mazadaspeed kit? Looks good! Did u mesh the front? Looks like u did! Maybe u should consider gauges!

btw errant, watch out for ur mirrors. Don't wipe em too hard. They tend to pop out - the glass i mean. Mine did.

Have to push carefully but firmly to pop it back in. So pay careful attention - mine nearly fell off! Dangling from wires...

thanks !

hey naughty boy..thanks for the advice. Yep i had Ganador mirrors on my previous car and the glass popped out and crashed onto the road..had to wait 3 months to wait for the #*&$ piece of glass to arrive from japan!

The front kit comes with the mesh standard, also sprayed from factory in the two tone colour.

Cant adjust gear **** brightness..only the rest of the instrumentation. Have got Defi black face gauges sitting at home but still looking for a pod to house them..

Me envoius! Was dreaming of Defi gauges; trying 2b good until Xmas!

There is a nice gauge housing somewhere in this site - fits on the dashboard.

If u don't have airbags on your A pillar u could fit em there! Me regret having air bags on A pillar... No gauges possible there.

Re ur gearknob; read somewhere else that u can change the buld to a dimmer one (although me don't know whether it's advisable).

Ur mesh is NICE!!!

I could agree with u to a point....

Me happy to hear comments good & bad; was hoping to hear more about what else to do with the car!!!

Always nice to see others doing stuff to their cars; that's what spices things! And gives ideas...

So what have u done with urs? Maybe something different/nice???
