Hi all the RX8 lovers, got my ride this afternoon, 6 speed manual. Really excited but at the same time disappointed leh. Thought the car comes with CD player but NO HAVE!!!.. Feel like kenna cheated, especially after waited about 3 months.
Call the agent who then refer me to their accessories dealer. The guy say "original from japan don't have player".
Is that true?
Will be looking forward to the next meet up.

Me faced the same prob too when i get my car in Aug. W/O CD changer & dun even hv a CD slot @ the dash.
So bo pian LL go install myself...

I went down to an audio shop and get the 6 disc changer installed and added a active subwoofer. Sound better now. I guess that's it for sound system for the moment. Next is to get use to my car (was driving a Harrier, so very diff feeling).
Really can't wait to get it run in. Even my wife enjoy driving it.
As for the meet up, guess I miss the one yesterday. So when is the next meet up? Looking forward to it.

The sound technician also tune the system before handing over the car. Must say that the job is quite well done as they are experienced in audio installation for RX8 since the dealers sent most of their new cars there for audio installation.
