Got this but dunno real or not, anyone ever tried? Seems quite interesting though. hehe....but I suspect only work for cars with normal car alarms and not immobilizers.

This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone: If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their cell phone from your cell phone. Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock.

Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object.
You could be hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has
the other "remote" for your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk).

Editor's Note: It worked fine for a fren of mine from States. They tried it out and it unlocked our car over a cell phone!"

 

I tried on my brother Van before, OPEN CAR DOOR Thru PHONE ... it work.

This type of thing dont work on European Car. I try on My VW GOLF and BMW 318 Never work (this 2 car have lock in problems) as you cant even open the door, even you are locked inside car.

What if theres no one at home.

The current GSM alarm system $600++ allows u to unlock the Car door by just dialing directly from your mobile on spot, no need to trouble a 3rd party.

There also another system with is around $100++, Which allow u to open the door by knocking a on the window and wahlah the door open by itself.
(the knocking code is programable, eg. how many knocks, how fast or how slow the knock)
