Hello all

I could have sworn that I read a thread on the sale of floor mats for $88 a set, I couldn't find it no matter how I searched. Was it removed or something?

Is anybody able to give me any form of advice on where I could get a set of decent looking floor mats? I'm looking for the fabric kind (carpet).

It was removed because he wasn't a vendor on these boards, and when I asked him nicely to contact Omicron about becoming one, he replied back with the most racist, sexist, and rude pm I've ever gotten in the entire time I've been on these boards. I'd think twice about doing business with anyone who thinks it's okay to call someone a "******* Bitch" and tells the admin of a board he's trying to advertise on that "I will spit directly on your face if you dare talk to me personally. BITCH". And that was the nice part.

i got mine cheaper elsewhere......same thing as advertised by tat vendor....in business one shld be humble to be successful....if the vendor insult our admin....think all the more we should not support them....

i tink its pretty clear cut that advertising of any sorts, be it direct or indirect, is not allowed here UNLESS u paid for it.

The admin and mods have their jobs to do, and again, its thankless. We are in their forum which they host, maintain and moderate, we follow and respect their rules. Simple and clear cut. No point trying to change this fact or work around the system.

Of cos unless singapore community wants to start our own forum then that's another story.

As for Asians cun understand basic simple English, i guess that is a bit of a stereotype cos Singaporeans are pretty well versed in english.

To be fair, Omicron is pretty fast in responding to some others.

Advertising in Far East forum could be as "low" as USD50 per month (price vs exposure). And there are a few avenues too. Of cos, you could have a vendor's thread as well. But that could lead to higher advertising fee.

Its your choice where you WANT to advertise your stuff just as much as it is their CHOICE how much they want to charge for advertising on their forums. Thats like you walking into MacDonalds and telling them to lower the prices of a cheeseburger - thats just completely moronic.
