Hey Renesis8, welcome to the board. So, care to elaborate a little more about your joy? So where you got it? Colour? Leather? Come on as detail as possible!
I'm getting my about the same time as well.

How much extra do you have to pay for the Mazdaspeed 4 point strut brace, anti roll bar and the chassis cross bar?

Hi ! Fab 8. The parts tat I paid for are as follow:
1. 4 Points STRUT BAR = 47,740 YEN = S$ 716.00
2. ANTI-ROLL BAR FRONT + REAR = 63,500 YEN = S$ 952.00
3. ANTI-CROSS BAR = 69,560 YEN = S$ 1042.00
TOTAL S$ 2710.00
In fact, you do not need all these cos with the perfect 50 = 50 weight distribution on the car, The RX 8 really can glue to the ground for almost all kind of corners. (Of course depends on the speed and the drivers driving skills)
As for me.. lousy driver.. .. plus a little bit kia su...... so opt for the extra aid. he hehe.

Renesis8,
I am considering upgrading the F & R stabilizers to reduce the body roll when cornering at speed. Not that it's losing its grip but there's a rather unbecoming amount of roll for a sports car.
Spyder766,
I posted a question on the suspension mods thread to you. Did your HKS coillovers reduce body roll?

I finally booked my RX8 after one month of deliberation . Got it from the same PI as RENISIS8. Had to wait for almost a week b4 the PI took my order as they were unsure whether Mazda Japan would fulfil their order. Btw the schduled delivery date is late Dec but I won't be registering the car till Jan 04 as I will be away for the 2nd half of Dec n do not want my new baby to feel neglected while I am away. I have booked a Type E, Velocity Red with Red/Black interior and selected the following options:
1. 18" sports rims (Type S) with sports suspension,
2. MP3 CD Kit,
3. Aluminuim pedals,
4. Factory fitted alarm (not immobiliser, as I do not know if it can be serviced locally should anything go wrong),
5. Rotary accents (F n R),
6. Strakes,
7. Foot Lamps,
8. Front Fog Lamps,
9. Sunroof.
I happened to get hold of my own COE during the Sep first round bidding at $25011. Can't wait to join all the lucky owners who are driving your RX8 now. Cheers!

Thanx Fab8. FYI, me getting my COE at $25k was totally unplanned for. It happened on the last day of the bidding exercise, 3rd Oct. Told my other half to bid the Cat B COE on my behalf but she bidded for the wrong category instead. So here I am getting the RX8, do we call this a lucky mistake or what?

So what car did you have in mind when intending to bid for Cat B?

Well believe it or not its actually for either the Honda Accord 2.0 (JDM) or the new Honda Odyssey. I currently own a Honda Stream 1.7A. Never thought I would end up owning a RX8 as I thought my 'wild days' r over. Used to own a Honda Civic VTi back in 1993 n a Mitsubishi Lancer Mivec A in 1997. This explains my inclusion of a sunroof in my RX8 as I think I have a weakness for them. Just hope that it will not cause any flexing in the car's bodyshell as in the case with my Mitsubishi.

Hey, we almost have the same cars in 93 and 97... I used to drive a Civic SiR (EG6) in 93 and a Lancer Mivec manual in 97!
Welcome back to the 'wild side'...if anyone asks, you can always say your other half made you do it! :D
